At 9 A.M. on 28th June, the Primary School Division held the final summary meeting of the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, which was attended by all the teachers. The meeting was divided into three agendas:
In the first place, Director Xu Degao of the Moral Education Department introduced the development of moral education work in this semester in detail from three aspects: head teachers’ work, safety work and publicity work. He fully affirmed the improvement of the class management level of the head teachers since this semester in that the head teachers’ meticulous, comprehensive and hard work have solidly implemented various moral education activities, providing a strong guarantee for comprehensively improving the quality of students.
In the second place, Director Zhao Xinlong of the Teaching Department made a full-scale and detailed summary of the teaching work of this semester: to begin with, we have strengthened the construction of teachers' ethics, and improved their professional quality; Also, our school has always attached significance to the construction of teachers and built a professional team of teachers; Additionally, we have implemented routine management and carried out effective supervision and inspection of all aspects of teaching; Last but not the least, we have done a good job of enrollment and laid the foundation for the sustainable development of Anqing Foreign Language School.
Furthermore, Deputy Director Xu Yanxia of the Primary School Division made detailed arrangements for the summer homework management of the fifth and sixth grades, requiring teachers to supervise and evaluate the results of students’ summer learning, and encouraging teachers of other grades to be equally concerned about students' learning status and provide guidance on their summer assignments.
Finally, Principal Assistant Liu Qiongdan highly affirmed the hard work of the teachers in this semester, and put forward new hopes and requirements for them.
To conclude, the summer vacation is about to start, however, the teachers have never stopped the pace of progress. Instead, they will take this as an opportunity to constantly adjust themselves, enrich themselves, and embark on a new journey.
